About

My work brings together Christian faith, pastoral ministry, prophetic listening, creativity, and a deep commitment to authenticity and integration — between faith and life, spirituality and wellbeing, inner formation and outward practice. Over time, I have learned that what sustains people is not intensity or performance, but lives rooted in honesty, attentiveness, and truth.

I have spent many years working with individuals, leaders, and communities through seasons of growth, calling, disruption, healing, and change. What continues to guide me is a desire to make space for people to meet God as they truly are, and to respond to God in ways that are faithful, grounded, and life-giving.

The prophetic thread

The prophetic has been part of my faith and ministry life for many years. It is not something I hold as a title or promote as a platform, but has become part of how I live my faith - an attentive and responsive way of listening to God that brings life, clarity, and colour into how I teach, pray, create, and work with others.

Rather than standing apart as a separate stream, this prophetic attentiveness informs and undergirds the whole of my work. It shows up in how I listen, how I notice what is emerging, how I ask questions, and how I help people discern what God may be inviting in their lives now.

Place, whakapapa, and belonging

Living and working in Aotearoa has shaped me deeply. I whakapapa to Waikato-Tainui, and my connection to tangata whenua and to the land is inherited and lived, rather than theoretical.

Māori understandings of belonging, whenua, and identity held within relationship have influenced how I see people and how I work, with respect for place, for context, and for the wider relational worlds people are part of. This has strengthened my commitment to ministry that is grounded, embodied, and attentive to the whole of life.

Teaching, mentoring, and supervision

Over time, my focus has widened to an integrated offering of Christian ministry. I am especially drawn to helping people know God personally and recognise God’s presence and involvement within their everyday lives.

A significant part of my work involves mentoring and supervision. I work with all sorts of people, including leaders, and practitioners who carry responsibility for others and who need honest, steady spaces to reflect, discern, and stay connected to their own integrity and wellbeing. I aim to offer a place that is thoughtful, spacious, and grounded, where clarity can emerge without pressure.

Counselling, art therapy, and creativity

Alongside ministry and mentoring, I offer counselling and art therapy that integrate Christian spirituality with psychological insight and creative process. I work with people seeking clarity, growth, or greater wholeness, spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and physically.

Creative processes often allow what is complex, tender, or still forming to be approached gently and safely. Art can open ways of knowing and healing that words alone cannot always reach.

I am also an active painter. My art practice is not separate from my ministry or faith; it is one of the ways I continue to listen, pray, and remain open to mystery and beauty. Painting has shaped how I work with others, with attentiveness, responsiveness, and trust in process.

How I hold this work

I offer my work from a place of gratitude to God and from the overflow of my own faith and learning. I am not interested in building a platform, but in being available to share what’s been given to me..
